The Finer Things

I've been working on some acrylic paintings recently.  Using some old drawings and some new ones, and making some interesting compositions.  The drawings are a little "in-your-face" (that works on a few different levels) and I've tried to bring them back to "classy" with a little  bit of gold, wallpaper accents.  I've inadvertently started a small series, a series I like to call, "The Finer Things Club". (And Yes, that's an Office reference for anyone out there that may have wondered)

It is based from the sketch I posted last week. The photo is not the greatest, but I think you can get a pretty good idea.

This is the newest painting.  I've already gotten pretty far along, just need to spend more time on the background.  But I think you can see what I mean by "in-your-face."
