I draw a lot; (Especially in my free time) and I love people watching, so it's a wonder why it has taken me so long to start combining these two. Here's the premise: I'll draw a random stranger on the sidewalk (it may have been you, sorry for using your likeness), and tweek it. It's a bit windy to try to explain it all, so I'll show you. It starts with a sketchA little 4x6 line drawing with a little "tweeking" to make the subject a little more interesting and expressive. And Then a WatercolorI scale it larger, Try to fill the space a little more, and more "tweeking". The third and final step will be large acrylic paintings.I'm constantly creating sketches and turning them into watercolors, but I only recently begun turning them into larger paintings.
I'll keep you posted as I keep cranking out artwork. Happy Friday!
