So about a month ago I bought a few hundred pounds of a cone6 English Porcelain and I decided I was going to attempt to make and develop some pots as glazes that I could fire in the electric kiln.
This is going to give me some brighter colors and will be something different. The porcelain is really finicky opposed to how easy it is to work with the stoneware I typically use. I've had some casualties and some cracking around the handles, but I should have some glaze tests done this week and hopefully get some new things in the shop! Overall I've been pleased with the new work. Pretty excited to see how things turn out!
